Free tool · Tweet screenshot
Turn any X (Twitter) post into a clean, high-resolution image, sized for Instagram, Stories or LinkedIn and signed with your handle. Paste the link and download the PNG. Free.
On X, open the post, tap the share icon and choose Copy link. On desktop you can also copy the address from the browser bar.
The post appears as a card. Pick Light, Dim or Dark, a background or your own image, the size for the network you post on, and add your signature.
Download a PNG at twice the screen resolution, or copy it and paste it straight into a post, a slide or a chat.
Copy the link of the post, paste it at the top of this page and press Create image. The post is redrawn as a clean card with the author, the text, the photos and the date, without the buttons and clutter of a phone screenshot.
Choose the theme that matches where the image is going: Light for slides and documents, Dark or Dim for social feeds. Add a gradient background to make the card stand out on Instagram, LinkedIn or in a newsletter, or choose None for a card with transparent corners.
Each network crops images differently, so the card can be laid out on the canvas each one expects. Square 1:1 and Portrait 4:5 fit the Instagram and LinkedIn feeds, Story 9:16 fills a story or a reel cover, and Landscape 16:9 suits X, LinkedIn articles, YouTube thumbnails and slides. The tweet is scaled to fit with a margin on every side, so nothing gets cut.
Fit keeps the canvas exactly around the card, which is the best choice for newsletters, blog posts and documents.
Type your @handle or your brand in Signature and it appears at the bottom of the image, in a colour that reads on the background you picked. When the image is shared again, it carries your name with it.
Upload image puts any photo or brand graphic behind the card. It stays in your browser: the file is never uploaded to a server.
A screenshot carries the status bar, the notification icons, the reply box and whatever else was on screen, and it is only as sharp as your display. This tool builds the image from the post itself, at twice the resolution, so it stays crisp when it is enlarged in a presentation or cropped for a story.
The image is created in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no watermark to crop out.
Tweet images travel well outside X. Creators post them on Instagram and LinkedIn, where links to X get less reach, add them to newsletters to quote a source, and drop them into slides to show what people are saying about a topic.
Quoting what others said is a good way to start a conversation, but the posts that grow an account are the ones with your own take. Kindal follows the sources and people of your niche, tells you what is worth reacting to every day and writes your post.

Sharing a screenshot of a public post with its author visible is common practice, but the words belong to the author. Keep the name visible and do not edit what they wrote.
